Market data and broker connectivity – Fyers, Upstox and Dhan

Screeners and backtests read a local market-data lake rather than re-querying a broker on every scan. Credentials stay on the server.

Market Data Lake – A local daily and intraday store covering roughly 3,350 NSE and BSE symbols, so screeners and backtests read from one consistent history rather than re-querying a broker for every scan.
Broker Connections – Connects to Fyers, Upstox and Dhan for market data and order execution, with tokens held locally and never exposed to the browser.

Common questions

Which brokers does Orbis connect to?

Fyers, Upstox and Dhan, each behind a common gateway – so a strategy can use one broker for data and another for execution.

Are my API keys sent to the browser?

No. Tokens are held server-side and every market-data call is routed through the platform's own backend. Logs record key names, never values.

Do strategies place real orders by default?

No. Paper mode is the default everywhere. Some strategies with unbounded loss profiles refuse live mode outright until they have a forward record.
